Katekyo Hitman Reborn anime will celebrate its 20th anniversary in October 2026, and a new project has been announced. The announcement comes almost 15 years since the original anime ended. As the first anniversary project, a new “20th ANNIVERSARY Visual” by character designer Masayoshi Tanaka was unveiled. It features Reborn, Sawada Tsunayoshi, the Tenth Generation Vongola Family, XANXUS and S. Squallo from Varia, and Byakuran from the Millefiore Family:
As the second project, a “20th ANNIVERSARY PV” was also released. The video looks back on the anime and features two opening themes, “Drawing days” (OP1) and “LISTEN TO THE STEREO!!” (OP8). You can check it out below.
As the third project, short videos covering all 203 TV anime episodes will be released daily starting January 4 on YouTube and various social media platforms.
The manga by Akira Amano ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from May 2004 to November 2012, ending with a total of 42 compilation volumes. The series also received an anime adaptation, which ran for 203 episodes from October 7, 2006 to September 25, 2010. Studio Artland handled the production.
