A preview trailer was released for episode 6 of Lycoris Recoil on the official Aniplex YouTube channel. The upcoming episode titled “Opposites attract” will air on Saturday, August 6, exclusively on Crunchyroll.

Despite falling out of its #1 spot in our weekly polls, Lycoris Recoil still managed to hold on strong at #3 for Week 4. But after a plot-driven episode 5, the series could rebound and reclaim its spot at #1. Now that we understand Yoshi is behind the Alan Institute and how they operate, the veil on Chisato’s past is slowly but surely beginning to unfold. And with Lycoris being brutally hunted down by Majima, it looks like from here on out things are only going to get even more serious.
Lycoris Recoil is an original anime series produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Sword Art Online‘s chief animation director, Shingo Adachi. The original story for Lycoris Recoil was created by Asaura, the same creator for the action-packed comedy series Ben-To. Among the cast are Chika Anzai as Chisato, Shion Wakayama as Takina, Ami Koshimizu as Misuki, and Kosuke Sakaki as Mika.
