The previously-announced Noumin Kanren no Skill anime has released a new trailer, as well as information on its theme songs. The anime will begin airing on October 1 of this year.
The opening song, titled “Growing Up”, will be performed by 7ORDER, while the ending song is titled “Rolling Soul Happy Days” by musical ensemble Pop Never Dies.
Studio A-CAT is animating the series, with Nagahama Norihiko as the director. Machida Touko is in charge of the series composition, Iga Takurou composed the music and Negishi Daisuke is credited as the art director. The main cast includes Junya Enoki as Al Wayne, Tanaka Minami as Fal Ys Meigis, Ookubo Rumi as Helen Lean, Suwa Ayaka as Ruki. Other cast includes Kenji Hamada as Gilles Wayne, Yukari Tamura as Ilvia, Mai Nakahara as Lucika Wayne, and Masahiro Ito as Reaks.
The anime, with the English title I Somehow Got Strong By Raising Skills Related To Farming, is based on the Noumin Kanren no Skill Bakka Agetetara Nazeka Tsuyoku Natta light novel series by Shobonnu and illustrated by Sogawa. It received a manga adaptation by April 2018, and Futabasha’s digital publication Web Comic Action has serialized it ever since.
Futabasha is serializing the original light novel series, and describes it as follows:
In order to live as a best farmer, Al Wayne, a young man who has been refining his farming skills, finally maxes out his last skill level. However, from the moment he mastered his farming skills, his life changed drastically in a different direction from that of a farmer…
