Black Clover Final Volume and Official Guidebook Released, Includes New 15-Page Manga by Yuki Tabata

Black Clover has officially reached the end of its manga run with the release of Volume 38, while fans can also pick up a new official guidebook featuring an original 15-page manga by series creator Yuki Tabata.

Released in Japan on August 4, the final volume concludes Tabata’s fantasy manga, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2015 before moving to Jump GIGA in 2023. The series officially ended earlier this year after more than a decade of publication.

Alongside the final volume, Shueisha has released Black Clover: Perfect Grimoire, a fully supervised official guidebook compiled under Tabata’s oversight. The book includes profiles for more than 250 characters, details on over 400 spells, a creator Q&A, and production materials from the 2023 anime film Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King.

One of the guidebook’s biggest features is a newly drawn 15-page manga by Tabata, created exclusively for the release.

The series received a 170-episode anime adaptation by Studio Pierrot, which ran from 2017 to 2021. The Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King movie premiered on June 16 and is streaming on Netflix. Crunchyroll streams the TV anime, describing the story:
