Preview for episode 11 of Overlord IV (Season 4) is here with two English-subtitled videos that have been uploaded on Kadokawa Anime’s YouTube channel. The episode will air on September 13. This week’s special preview is narrated by the flamboyant Ampetif Cocco Doll, who is voiced by Yoshimitsu Shimoyama. As always, the standard preview is narrated by Satoshi Hino, who voices Ainz:
The episode is titled “Well-Prepared Traps” and will focus on the final stretch of the battle for the Re-Estize Kingdom. Ramposa III realizes that the end is near, as his citizens cower in their homes. Cocytus, Aura, and Mare approach the capital with a small army. However, they are suddenly attacked by Azuth Aindra, an adamantite-ranked adventurer of Red Drop, and forced to fight back. Albedo will also appear in the episode – donning her battle armor.
Naoyuki Ito is directing the Overlord Season 4 (Overlord IV) anime, with Satoshi Tasaki on character designs. Yukie Sugawara is overseeing the series composition and also writing the screenplay.
The Overlord anime series is based on light novels written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in 2015. Season 2 and season 3 both aired in 2018, with studio MADHOUSE animating. Two recap movies by MADHOUSE were also released along the way. A new movie is also in the works and it will cover the Holy Kingdom Arc.
