Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Eris Spin-Off Manga Ends

Eris-centered spin-off of the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation manga has come to an end after eight months of serialization. Mushoku Tensei: Eris wa Honki de Kiba wo Togu (Eris Sharpens Her Fangs) has a total of six chapters, which will be compiled into a single volume that is set to publish on November 28. The plot of the manga follows Eris after she leaves Rudeus following their battle with Dragon God Orsted. She heads to the Holy Land of Swords with the goal of becoming stronger and overcoming her immaturity.

Artist Take Higake was in charge of the art, while Rifujin na Magonote was credited as the original creator. Yu Okano did the composition, while Shirotaka (light novel illustrator) reserved the credit for original character designs. The manga began serialization on Square Enix’s Gangan Online magazine app on March 15. Now that the story has come to an end, the Mushoku Tensei: Eris wa Honki de Kiba wo Togu chapters can be read on both the website and the app. The first volume is now available for pre-order.

In addition to the spin-off manga, Eris also has her own OVA episode. The unaired episode of the anime adaptation by studio Bind is came out on March 16, bundled with the 4th Blu-ray volume. It focused on Eris’ goblin-slaying adventures.

Eris’ side story is not the first Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation spin-off. Mushoku Tensei: Roxy Gets Serious started serialization in 2017. Roxy spin-off features art by Shoko Iwami and story by Rifujin na Magonote.
