Japanese voice actor Nobunaga Shimazaki, known for voicing Shinichi Izumi from Parasyte: The Maxim, announced on Sunday his marriage to his non-celebrity girlfriend. The voice actor posted the announcement on his official Twitter account and expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported him. He also promised to push forward as a voice actor and wished everyone to have a good year. Some of his fellow voice actors such as Yuki Kaji, Aoi Shouta, and Yuuto Uemura joined the fans in congratulating Nobunaga on his marriage.

Nobunaga Shimazaki is a voice actor affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. Some of his famous roles include Shinichi Izumi from Parasyte: The Maxim, Haruka Nanase from Free!, Shidou Itsuka from Date A Live, Yuki Sohma from Fruits Basket (2019), Yuno from Black Clover, Kaedehara Kazuha from Genshin Impact, and Shun Kaidou from The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. The voice actor won the Best Rookie Actor Award at the 7th Seiyu Awards in 2013 and the Best Actor in Supporting Roles at the 15th Seiyu Awards in 2021.
