March, 2021 – that’s when AnimeJapan 2021 is going to happen! The event is coming back after 2 years.
In case you don’t know what AnimeJapan is, here is a small paragraph from Wikipedia:
AnimeJapan is a Japanese anime consumer show which was held for the first time at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition center in Tokyo, in March 2014. It was created from the merger of the Tokyo International Anime Fair with the Anime Contents Expo. It is organized by the AnimeJapan Executive Committee with support from The Association of Japanese Animations and The Association of Manga Publishers.
What’s more, every edition of AnimeJapan had over 100 exhibitors! Furthermore, over 100,000 visitors came over each year.
AnimeJapan also reassured any potential visitors (rewritten by Anime Corner):
One of the biggest Anime events in the world, AnimeJapan 2021 will take place in Tokyo Big Sight and online for the first time! For the sake of the anime industry and for all the anime fans, the event will once again be held at the Tokyo venue. We will take the necessary precautions against the spread of the COVID-19 infection. Moreover, with the new online content, we will do our best to reach the fans that cannot join us at the venue as well. According to our motto “Here is Everything about Anime” we plan to combine offline and online content.
According to official website of AnimeJapan 2021 will happen both online and offline:
- Public day: March 27 and 28, 2021
- Business day: March 29 and 30, 2021
Hopefully next year pandemic will be over and we won’t have to worry about joining events like this in person!
