Kodansha’s cover image for the ninth volume of Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro, a manga written by Nanashi, shows the manga’s wraparound jacket band. Moreover, said jacket band lists the anime’s cast and that it will premiere in Spring 2021!
In case you didn’t know, Nanashi (774) debuted his manga on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website in November 2017. It’s still publishing and 9th volume is going to ship in Japan on November 9.
Part of the cast will be:
- Sumire Uesaka – Nagatoro (as previously announced).
- Daiki Yamashita – Senpai
- Mikako Komatsu – Gamo-chan
- Aina Suzuki – Yosshii
- Shiori Izawa – Sakura
Synopsis of the Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro manga, according to Vertical, is as follows:
Mischievous Nagatoro-san always bugs Senpai to get a reaction out of him. What is her motivation? Does she just want to create misery for Senpai? Or maybe she secretly likes him?
Hirokazu Hanai will be responsible for directing the anime. In addition, Taku Kishimoto (Boku dake ga Inai Machi) is supervising the series script. Furthermore, Misaki Suzuki (Lupin the Third: Part 5) will design the characters. Lastly, Gin from Pop Team Epic is composing the music for the show.
