Voice actress Tomori Kusonoki is gracing the June 2023 cover issue of Seiyuu Grandprix magazine. The main feature of the upcoming issue is titled “CLOSE-UP Tomori Kusunoki” and is an 18-page special edition that reflects her career as both a voice actor and solo artist. The feature includes photos in two different outfits, which are inspired by her upcoming two-disc album “PRESENCE/ABSENCE” – slated to release on May 24. Additionally, Kusunoki talks about the charm of the album’s songs, answers questions related to the album’s title and discusses her voice acting career, which is now in its 7th year.
Meanwhile, voice actress Aina Suzuki, who will be releasing her latest single “Dash and Go!” on the same day as this issue of the Seiyuu Grand Prix, will be making an appearance on the back cover. Suzuki’s special feature is packed with various photos including the punk-ish outfits and hair and makeup from the “Dash and Go!” music video.
The cast of The Quintessential Quintuplets: Kana Hanazawa, Ayana Taketatsu, Miku Ito, Ayane Sakura, and Inori Minase are also featured in this issue along with Aguri Onishi, Yurika Kubo, Mamoru Miyano, Takua Eguchi, Hiroyuki Yoshino, Taku Yashiro, and Shinnosuke Tachibana.
Seiyuu Grandprix June 2023 Issue will be available to purchase for 1,500 yen (~$11) on May 10, 2023. Special posters of the voice actors on the cover are added as a benefit upon purchasing the magazine from certain retailers. The cast of Bocchi the Rock and Love Live‘s virtual idol Hasunosora Jyogakuin School Idol Club were on the covers of last month‘s issue.
