Rie Takahashi, who is celebrating her 10th anniversary as a voice actress this year, is on the front cover of the July 2023 issue of Seiyuu Grandprix. The special feature at the beginning of the magazine is titled “CLOSE-UP Rie Takahashi” and it explores her experiences of being a voice actress from her debut to the present day and her expectations of the future.
Additionally, a few of Rie’s close colleagues left her messages which are all available to read in the issue: Yuka Aisaka, Hikaru Akao, Yuji Asano, Sora Amamiya, Yurie Igoma, Makoto Uezu, Reina Ueda, Yumi Uchiyama, Rumi Okubo, Chiyo Kagiyama, Yuki Kaji, Kazuomi Koga, Yusuke Kobayashi, Soma Saito, Gen Sato, Tomokazu Sugita, Takeshi Takadera, Minami Tanaka, Yuji Higa, Yoshimasa Hosoya, Inori Minase, Aya Yamane, and Yuu.
Meanwhile, Makoto Furukawa who is celebrating his 5th anniversary as a solo artist is featured on the back cover. Other voice actors that appear in this issue include Sora Amamiya, Aki Toyosaki, Nana Mizuki, Akari Kito, Yukari Anzai, Shindo Amane, Akiho Suzumoto, Aoi Shota, Kotaro Nishiyama, Wataru Komada, Daiki Hamano, Shoya Chiba, and Shinnosuke Tachibana.
Seiyuu Grandprix July 2023 Issue will be available to purchase for 1,500 yen (~$11) on June 9, 2023. Special posters of Rie Takahashi on the cover are added as a benefit upon purchasing the magazine from certain retailers. Tomori Kusunoki and Aina Suzuki graced the covers of the previous issue of Seiyuu Grandprix.
