Among Us one-shot manga is coming in April 2022 in Shogakukan’s Bessatsu CoroCoro magazine, the game developer Innersloth confirmed today. Innersloth’s Among Us game, originally published in 2018, rose to fame during 2020. H2 Interactive game publishing company, which is licensing the game in South Korea and Japan, originally made the announcement.
There is still no information about the author, and even though the original announcement by H2 Interactive was made on December 28 it went largely unnoticed until Innersloth tweeted:
Some of the titles serialized in Bessatsu CoroCoro are Yo-Kai Watch, Pokémon Torretta, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The same magazine has also been publishing Splatoon manga adaptation since 2015 and has also published Fortnite one-shot in 2018.
The game is a space-theme mystery game, in which players have to team up and figure out which one of them is an impostor. The impostor’s role is to murder their teammates and outsmart them until the very end. Among Us is available on Android, iOS, Windows, Nintendo Switch, but also Xbox and PlayStation. The latest big update came out on November 9, 2021:
