The anticipated Anime and Cosplay Expo (ACX) 2022 is set to take place this July 16-17, at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City, Philippines. The cosplay event will be featuring cosplay activities, hobby stores, a photo studio, and a fan fair that con-goers can enjoy. In addition, Singaporean cosplayer, Yukiko, will be making a special appearance.
Anime and Cosplay Expo (ACX) 2022 is one of the four annual events by Cosplay Mania. According to their website, they aim “to catch the best of everything related to Anime, Cosplay, Games, Collectibles, Virtual Idols, and J-Music at a Convention like no other!“ This will be the first Anime and Cosplay Expo since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Just like the recent Cosplay Carnival 2022, ACX 2022 will have a center stage filled with fun and engaging activities. These include Solo Cosplay Catwalk, Cosplay Karaoke Encore, and Cosplay’s Got Talent. Meanwhile, The Scene Zone, Emoji Master, and Fan-Tac-Tic will also be accepting live audiences to participate. Con-goers are also free to join the Cosplay Auction. Lastly, the Awarding Ceremony will close the day’s events.
The highlight of Anime and Cosplay Expo (ACX) 2022 includes the special appearances of the CosPop group, Raindrop, the Filpino indie-idol group, LoveSo, and the Singaporean cosplayer and ACG (Anime, Comic, Games) influencer, Yukiko. She shares in a post that “this will be her first time in the Philippines and is her first guesting event overseas since the pandemic.”

Entrance to the SMX Convention Center Manila will start as early as 9:00 AM, while ACX 2022 will open at 11:00 AM. Aside from the events, con-goers will also have a lot of free space to meet people, have photos, and rest inside Function Rooms 1-4. The event map, exhibitor list, and schedule are also available to download on the website.
