BanG Dream! YUME∞MITA revealed the preview for Episode 5, set to release on Thursday, July 16. Midori Goto (BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!!) is in charge of the episode’s script with the direction of Daiki Uchida (Metallic Rouge) and the storyboard of Tomomi Umetsu (Narenare: Cheer for you!). The episode synopsis is as follows:
Pretending to be okay, pretending to be energetic. That sense of unease can no longer be hidden. Far away, a single gear begins to shift out of place—
Mugendai Mewtype (Yumemita) members consist of five female VTubers: Nakamachi Arale (vocals), Miyanaga Nonoka (lead guitar), Minetsuki Ritsu (rhythm guitar), Fuji Miyako (keyboard), and Sengoku Yuno (DJ). This is also the only band among the 10 main bands in the franchise that doesn’t have a bassist or a drummer. NICHICALINE is animating the series with Osamu Nobusawa and Mochipuyo on character designs.
Crunchyroll and Muse Asia are streaming the anime and the latter describes it as:
“Waaaaaah!!” Thrown together out of the blue to make their debut, these members each have a spark of unique talent—but they are in absolutely no shape to actually be a band. Can these girls, and their band, really survive this!? “Even when the sound stops, fight back.”
