BLEACH 2022 Gets New Short Trailer Featuring The Star Cross Knight Order (Sternitter)

The 2022 anime adaptation of BLEACH, which is covering the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, has received a new short trailer featuring the Soul Society’s upcoming Quincy opponent The Sternitter (The Star Cross Knight Order). The anime will be airing from October 10 in four cours, which will be non-consecutive (won’t air season after season). Studio Pierrot is in charge of the production, with Tomohisa Taguchi as the director. Watch the new trailer:

Masakazu Morita and Yuki Matsuoka are reprising their roles as Ichigo and Orihime. Takayuki Sugo is joining as Yhwach. You can check out the full voice cast, while the staff for the anime includes:

Studio Pierrot previously produced the original TV anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga, which aired between October 2004 and March 2012 with a total of 366 episodes. VIZ Media licensed it in English, and they describe the BLEACH 2022 (TYBW) story:

The peace is suddenly broken when warning sirens blare through the Soul Society. Residents there are disappearing without a trace and nobody knows who’s behind it, meanwhile, a dark shadow is also extending itself toward Ichigo and his friends in Karakura Town…
