Blue Box will officially run for 2 consecutive cours, with the anime set to premiere on October 3. Studio Telecom Animation Film is animating, while Netflix will be streaming the show weekly worldwide.
The anime recently added 3 voice actors to the cast, which now consists of the following members:
- Shoya Chiba as Taiki Inomata
- Reina Ueda as Chinatsu Kano
- Akari Kito as Hina Chono
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Kyo Kasahara
- Yuma Uchida as Kengo Hanyu
- Shogo Sakata as Ryosuke Nishida
- Anna Nagase as Nagisa Funami
- Asaki Yuikawa as Nina Shimazaki
The anime previously revealed the main trailer. It features both of the theme songs, with Official HIGE DANdism performing the opening and Eve performing the ending. You can watch that below.
Yuichiro Yano is directing the anime, with Miho Tanino as the character designer and Yuko Kakihara in charge of the series composition. Koji Miura writes and draws the manga for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. The story follows Taiki Inomata, a badminton player aiming for nationals, as he meets and falls for Chisatsu Kano, his beautiful, basketball-loving senpai.
