Bye Bye, Earth Season 2 anime has revealed an April 2025 release date, along with streaming the first episode of Season 1 for free for a limited time. The first season of the anime by LIDEN FILMS ran for 10 episodes from July to September 2024. The sequel was announced immediately after its finale.

In addition to the free streaming of Episode 1 on YouTube, the first five episodes will be available for free on WOWOW On Demand from December 26, 2024 to January 10, 2025. In addition, all episodes of Bye Bye, Earth Season 1 will air in a marathon broadcast on WOWOW Prime and WOWOW On Demand starting on January 2, 2025.
Yasuto Nishikata directed the anime, with Sota Yokote as the assistant director, Hiroyuki Yoshino in charge of the series composition, Yuki Hino as the character designer, and Kevin Penkin composing the music. The voice cast includes:

The Bye, Bye Earth anime is based on a 2000 novel of the same name written by Tow Ubukata and illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano. The adaptation is the first co-production between Crunchyroll, WOWOW, and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan. Crunchyroll describes the story:
In a world of anthropomorphic animals, Belle Lablac was born as the only human being. Having no fangs, fur, or scales, she was called “Faceless,” and she lived a lonely life with no one else she could identify with. “I want to be part of the world…” With such longing in her heart, she decides to set out on a journey to find her roots, carrying the Runding, a great sword as tall as she is. She doesn’t know how many adversities await her along the way…
