Chainsaw Man manga author Tatsuki Fujimoto live-tweeted his reactions on episode 10 of the anime adaptation titled “Bruised & Battered” in real-time during the broadcast. The manga creator “borrowed” the Twitter account from Koharu Nagayama, an account he created in the name of his “sister” who uses it to post about her daily life.
“This is Fujimoto. I’d like to also do it today,” the Chainsaw Man manga author appeared on Twitter 11 minutes before the broadcast, and revealed that he checked a lot of times a chapter of Yama Wayama’s Onna no Sono no Hoshi manga where character(s) eat a meal at the nurse’s room. The series released the third compiled volume on December 8, 2022. The Chainsaw Man anime starts airing at midnight in Japan. Animation studio MAPPA is animating the Chainsaw Man anime based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga of the same name serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from December 2018 to January 2021 with a total of 11 volumes. The series’ second part is being published on Shueisha’s online manga service Shonen Jump +. The series surpassed 16 million circulating copies with the 12th volume’s release on October 4. The anime adaptation was chosen as Anime Corner’s most anticipated Anime of Fall 2022 by fans.
