Chiyu Maho and Ningen Fushin no Boukensha-tachi Light Novels to Recieve Anime Adaptations

Light novels Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata: Senjou wo Kakeru Kaifuku Youin and Ningen Fushin no Boukensha-tachi ga Sekai wo Sukuu You desu are getting anime adaptations. The information was revealed during a special web event dedicated to the 8th anniversary of MF Books’ first publication, but the format and additional information weren’t revealed.

Voice actors Yusuke Shirai and Ippei Matsuoka hosted the event, which is now available to stream on KADOKAWA’s YouTube channel:

Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata: Senjou wo Kakeru Kaifuku Youin

Chiyu Mahou (Wrong Use of Healing Magic: Recovery Personnel is Running to the Battlefield) is an isekai light novel, written by Kurokata and illustrated by KeG. It started serialization in MF Books in 2016. The series ended in 2020 after 12 volumes, but also has an ongoing manga adaptation.

The comedy follows an ordinary high school student, Ken Usato, who gets summoned into another world, along with 2 other people. Ken is kind of talentless, so he assumes they will treat him as if he is useless. However, it turns out that he possesses magical powers, which he will have to perfect with hard training.

Ningen Fushin no Boukensha-tachi ga Sekai wo Sukuu You desu

Ningen Fushin no Boukensha (The Adventurers That Don’t Believe in Humanity Will Save the World) is a light novel about a group of outcasts who meet each other and bond together. Nick gets kicked out of his adventuring party and ends up in a bar where tries to drown his sorrows. There he meets a former priest, a fallen noble, and a female dragon warrior who all have one thing in common. They were all betrayed by someone, so they decide to team up and form an adventuring party.

The series started serialization in 2019 in MF Books, and it also has a manga adaptation. Shina Fuji is writing the story, while Susumu Kuroi is doing the illustrations. The illustrator also tweeted about the upcoming anime, with a special illustration:

MF Books is a Media Factory’s light novel imprint, which publishes mainly fantasy light novels. Some of their popular titles include The Rising of the Shield Hero and Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation.

It’s worth noting that Kadokawa Future Publishing owns Media Factory. Recently, Kadokawa announced a plan to produce 40 anime titles per year until 2023.
