Class no Daikirai Anime Reveals New Visual, Studio and Staff

Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta (I’m Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class) anime revealed a new key visual, an additional cast member, as well as the studio and main staff. The anime was announced in June with a teaser visual featuring the protagonist, Akane Sakuramori. The male lead, Saito Hojo, will be voiced by Shogo Sakata. Studios Studio Gokumi​​​ and AXsiZ are in charge of the animation, with Hiroyuki Oshima as the director. They also released the announcement version narrated by Shogo Sakata.

The Class no Daikirai na Joshi to Kekkon suru Koto ni Natta. light novel series is written by Seiju Amano and illustrated by Nanami Narumi. The manga was first serialized by Media Factory in December 2020, with 8 volumes published as of November 2023. There is also a manga adaptation illustrated by mosskonbu.

The original novel illustrator Nanami Narumi will work on the character design for the anime along with the manga adaptation’s artist mosskonbu. The synopsis for the anime:
High school student Hojo Saito marries his classmate, Sakuramori Akane, the girl who had been his worst enemy in school. “If you tell the rest of the class we’re married, I’ll kill you” “I don’t want them to know either. There’s no point in that.”

Their newlywed life isn’t going so well, and they are constantly at odds. However, as they progress through their daily lives, the distance between them closes, they have more enjoyable moments together, and they gradually come to understand one another.

Saito learns about Akane’s cute side, which he never saw before, and Akane gradually begins to recognize the feelings that she’d been keeping inside… The heart-throbbing newlywed life of two people who just can’t seem to be honest with each other begins here!
