Colin Stetson’s soundtrack for the upcoming Uzumaki anime is now out, courtesy of Milan Records. The soundtrack is available digitally, just in time for the anime’s premiere on September 28. Commenting on the album, Stetson said:
“I absolutely adored my time making this music and inhabiting the strange, gorgeous, horrifying, and spectacular spiral world that Ito-Sensei created.”
This is Stetson’s first anime title, but he has experience with horror as he’s previously worked on scores for movies such as Hereditary and The Menu. He often collaborates with Arcade Fire and Bon Iver. The tracklist for the Uzumaki anime soundtrack, which will be available also be available to order in a 180-gram black and white spiral-bound vinyl edition, includes:

The highly anticipated adaptation of Junji Ito’s manga is produced by Production I.G (USA) and Adult Swim. Studio Drive is in charge of the animation and Hiroshi Nagahama is directing. It will premiere on Adult Swim this Saturday with next-day streaming on Max.
