Daemons of the Shadow Realm Season 2 was officially announced immediately after the first season’s finale finished airing in Japan. Studio BONES FILM is in charge of the animation, with the anime concluding after two consecutive cours and a total of 24 episodes. It’s streaming on Crunchyroll.

The director of the anime is the Sword of the Stranger director, Masahiro Ando. The voice cast includes:
- Kensho Ono as Yuru
- Yume Miyamoto as Asa
- Yuichi Nakamura as Dera
- Misaki Kuno as Gabu-chan
- Junichi Suwabe as Jin Kagemori
- Miyuri Shimabukuro as Hana
- Takako Honda as Left

Daemons of the Shadow Realm is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiromu Arakawa (Fullmetal Alchemist). It has been serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan since December 2021. Square Enix is also releasing it in English. They describe the story:
