Dark Moon: The Blood Altar manhwa (released as a webtoon) is getting an anime adaptation. The story and characters are based on the South Korean boy band ENHYPEN and their music videos.
The announcement for the adaptation was made at the Aniplex Online Fest 2024 event, and you can watch the teaser trailer below.
No further details about the anime were revealed, with the format also not specified (it was announced as an ‘animation project’).
HYBE writes and draws Dark Moon: The Blood Altar. It ran for a total of 70 chapters from January 2022 to August 2023, with Yen Press publishing an English print version under the Ize Press imprint. The webtoon is available in English on Webtoon, where its story is described:
Welcome to Riverfield, where the most popular boys at two rival schools happen to be vampires and werewolves. When a mysterious new student, Sooha, transfers to Riverfield, the rivals find themselves inexplicably drawn to her.
