Demon Lord 2099 Reveals Visual, Trailer, and New Cast for Upcoming Akihabara Arc

Demon Lord 2099 anime revealed a new visual and trailer for its upcoming Akihabara arc, which will begin with Episode 8 titled “Cybermagic City Akihabara” on November 30. Studio J.C. Staff is animating, with Ryo Ando as the director.

The main cast consists of Satoshi Hino as the Demon Lord Veltol and Miku Ito as Machina. New cast additions for the Akihabara arc include:

  • Aya Yamane as Hizuki Reynard-Yamada
  • Hisako Kanemoto as Tratte Götel
  • Yoko Hikasa as Mag Rosanta
  • Setsuji Sato as Korneah Seburd

The character designer for the Demon Lord 2099 anime is Ryousuke Tanigawa, with Yuichiro Momose in charge of the script. The rest of the voice cast includes Daisuke Namikawa as Gram, Shizuka Ito as Kinohara, Masaya Matsukaze as Marcus, and Hana Hishikawa as Takahashi.

Demon Lord 2099 is a light novel series written by Daigo Murasaki and illustrated by Kureta. It has been ongoing since January 2021, and it also has 2 manga adaptations. Yen Press is publishing the light novel series in English.

The story follows the legendary Demon Lord Velton after reincarnating 500 years later. He realizes the world has drastically changed, and so have his former allies. Now he has to try restoring his faith through becoming a streamer, trying to persuade people to believe in him in new ways as he tries to reclaim his title.
