Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc Reveals Key Visual for the Upcoming Special Broadcast

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village is getting a special edition that will be broadcast in two parts on May 4 and 5 in Japan. The new visual features the Love and Mist Hashiras, who played a central part in the arc:

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Swordsmith Village Arc aired throughout the Spring 2023 anime season. Although the season had 11 episodes, the final one was an hour-long special. Akari Kito and Natsuki Hanae reprised their roles as the Kamado siblings, Nezuko and Tanjiro. Check out the trailer for the special broadcast:

Demon Slayer is based on a manga by Koyoharu Gotoge. It ran from 2016 to 2020 in the Weekly Shonen Jump and ended after 205 chapters, compiled into 23 volumes. It received an anime adaptation by studio ufotable in 2019.

The first season had 26 episodes and was followed by Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train movie in 2020. The movie was an enormous success, both in Japan and overseas. Season 2 of Demon Slayer started in October of 2021 with a TV version of the Mugen Train arc. The movie was adapted into 7 episodes and it included a special first episode that wasn’t part of the movie. The second part of the second season was the Entertainment District Arc, which introduced a new Hashira – Tengen Uzui. The fourth season, which will focus on the Hashira Training Arc, revealed a trailer and key visual yesterday. The new season begins on May 12, with a one-hour episode, which was already screened worldwide with the finale of the Swordsmith Village throughout February.
