The upcoming Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro 2nd Attack *(Season 2) revealed a character visual for Hayase Nagatoro. Studio OLM is animating the second season of the popular rom-com and the premiere date is set for January 7, 2023. Sumire Uesaka is voicing Nagatoro and also singing the opening theme song “LOVE CRAZY,” which was revealed in the newest trailer.
Daiki Yamashita is reprising his role as Naoto Hachioji. Nana Mizuki is voicing Bucho, Mikako Komatsu is Maki, Aina Suzuki is Yoshi and Shiori Izawa is Sakura. The second season will also see some cast additions:
- Yoshino Nanjo as Nagatoro’s sister
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Hana Sunomiya
- Kaori Maeda as Orihara
Shinji Ushiro will be directing the sequel, with Taku Kishimoto on the series composition. Character designer Misaki Suzuki is returning, and Gin is composing the music. The first season of the series was animated by Telecom Animation Film and aired during the Spring 2021 anime season with a total of 12 episodes.
The anime is based on a web manga by Nanashi. It began publishing in 2017 on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket online magazine. Kodansha US licensed the manga in English and described the plot as:
Nagatoro is a freshman in high school who loves teasing and torturing her older male classmate! What’s her motivation and why does Senpai put up with her? Does Nagatoro just want to create misery for Senpai? Or maybe she secretly likes him?
