The episodic version of the Code Geass: Z of the Recapture will begin streaming on Disney Star+ starting on June 21. Details on regional availability are still unknown. This version of the latest installment from the Code Geass franchise is slated to have 12 episodes. The first two parts of the theatrical version already premiered in Japan while the remaining two are coming on July 5 and August 12. Studio Sunrise is animating.
The plot focuses on two brothers, Rose and Ash, mercenaries who get involved in a battle with the 100th Emperor of Britannia. Ichiro Okouchi and Goro Taniguchi are credited for the story of Code Geass: Z of the Recapture. Yoshimitsu Ohashi is directing, with Noboru Kimura on the series composition. CLAMP is once again credited with the original character designs with Takahiro Kimura and Hidekazu Shimamura as the character designers for the movie. MIYAVI is in charge of the theme song “Running in My Head,” which will also be the opening for the episodic version:
