I’m Dating a Dark Summoner Omake Shorts will premiere exclusively on HIDIVE on November 6 as a 12-episode bonus series based on the Fall 2026 anime I’m Dating a Dark Summoner.
The short-form series reimagines Amona, Roni, and the rest of the cast in chibi-style sketch comedy scenarios. The characters will appear in different settings and roles, including stories set at a cafe, an office, and a school. An official English-subtitled trailer was also released alongside the announcement, which Anime Corner has the exclusive opportunity to share:
The returning cast includes:
- Rei Takano as Amona
- Yuki Nishiyama as Roni
- Semmai Hodentei as Imp
Acali Arimiya is directing the shorts and also serves as character designer. Arimiya is co-writing the scripts with Araki Humisato, while production is handled by WWWave Corporation’s Deregula animation studio. You can see the key visual below.
The main I’m Dating a Dark Summoner anime is an adaptation from the fantasy romantic comedy manga written and illustrated by Shaoh. The Omake Shorts will be available to HIDIVE subscribers in supported markets, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand.
