Eyeshield 21 New One-Shot BRAIN x BRAVE Gets Animated Trailer by Yusuke Murata

Eyeshield 21 has a new look at the animated trailer by Yusuke Murata for its upcoming BRAIN x BRAVE one-shot. The one-shot is meant to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the series, which first started on July 23, 2002. Yusuke Murata previously shared the teaser with no sound effects, while the new upload has them. He directed the trailer, working with animators from Village Studio and Kome Studio. Details about the release date are yet to be revealed, but you can check out the trailer on his official Twitter account:

Eyeshield 21 is a manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Yusuke Murata, and it was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from July 2002 to June 2009. It ended with a total of 333 chapters and has 37 compiled volumes. It also has an anime adaptation, which was co-produced by TV Tokyo, NAS, and studio Gallop and ran for 145 episodes from April 2005 to March 2008. Eyeshield 21 also has two OVA episodes and several video games. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. VIZ describes the story:
What does a wimpy kid who’s been bullied all his life have to depend on but his own two feet?
