Fate/strange Fake New Anime Season Announced With Teaser Visual

A new Fate/strange Fake anime series has officially been announced, with a teaser visual and the words “New Season Confirmed.” The final episode of the first TV anime season ended with the words “to be continued.”

The anime released Episode 1 titled “The Heroic Spirit Incident” in Japan and worldwide on December 31, 2024 ahead of its regular release, which began in January 2026. The first season ran for a total of 13 episodes, with A-1 Pictures handling the animation.

The anime continued after the events of Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn, the 1-hour TV special that was released on July 2, 2023. The staff for the anime includes:

Fate/strange Fake is based on the light novel series written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Shizuki Morii. The story follows an irregular Holy Grail War taking place in Snowfield, Nevada, where an attempted recreation of the ritual leads to a conflict that differs significantly from a traditional Holy Grail War.
