Girls und Panzer das Finale: Part 4 is premiering on October 4, as announced earlier this week alongside a trailer and a key visual. Studio ACTAS is animating the fourth installment of the six-part movie series.
Girls und Panzer franchise marked its 10th-anniversary last year. ACTAS, a subsidiary of Bandai Namco Arts (now Bandai Namco Filmworks), created and produced the original Girls und Panzer anime, with Tsutomu Mizushima as the director. Reiko Yoshida wrote the script and was also in charge of the series composition. Isao Sugimoto did the character designs, while Shiro Hamaguchi composed the music. The same staff is returning for the Girls und Panzer das Final: Part 4.
The original anime ran from October to December 2012, but 2 additional episodes aired in March 2013, making it a total of 13. The anime also has multiple OVAs, DVD specials, and omake specials. A sequel movie titled Girls und Panzer der Film came out in 2015, followed by Girls und Panzer das Finale: Part 1 in 2017. Girls und Panzer das Finale is a 6-movie project, which depicts the events set after the original series and the first movie. Part 2 came out in 2019, while the third and the latest movie premiered last year. The main cast includes:
- Mai Fuchigami as Miho
- Yuka Iguchi as Mako
- Mami Ozaki as Hana
- Ai Kayano as Saori
- Ikumi Nakagami as Yukari
Sentai Filmworks licensed the series, which is currently available to stream on HIDIVE:
