Preview images for episode 1 of Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World anime have been released. The anime is set to premiere on July 6 this year. Studio Passione is animating the series, with Naoyuki Tatsuwa directing it.
The first episode will focus on the story of the main character Michio Kaga, who gets transported into a game upon loading the game settings. As part of his first quest, he saves a village from a bandit attack. However, he later realizes that he can’t log out of the game, hence making the game his new reality.
The anime, also known as Isekai Meikyu de Harem wo, will be available in three types of screening in Japan, TV broadcast version (censored audio and explicit scenes), the harem version (censored explicit scenes), and the super harem version (no censorship at all).

Struggling with life and society, high school student Michio Kaga wanders about the Internet and lands on an odd website. The website, featuring a number of questions and a point-based system, allows one to create skills and abilities for a character. Upon completing his character, Kaga was transported to a game-like fantasy world and reborn as a strong man who can claim idol-level girls. Thus begins the cheat and harem legend of a reborn man!
The anime is based on Shachi Sogano’s Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World (Isekai Meikyu de Harem wo) light novel series. Shufunotomo has been serializing it with Shikidouji’s illustrations since 2012. A manga adaptation by Issei Hyoju is being published by Kadokawa Shoten since 2017 in Monthly Shonen Ace magazine, and as of now, it has 8 volumes available.
