The singer and voice actress Inori Minase revealed on Friday a cyberpunk-esque cover of her upcoming 12th single titled “Scrap Art,” which is scheduled to release on Wednesday, September 13. The highlight of the single is the lead track, also named “Scrap Art,” which serves as the opening theme for the second season of Dead Mount Death Play. In addition to the title track, the single will also feature two more songs namely, “Kurari no Uta” and “While We Walk.” It will be available for 1,430 yen (~ ) and additional bonuses will be added upon purchasing from certain retailers.

Inori Minase is a solo artist under the label company King Records. She made her musical debut in 2015 with the single “Yume no Tsubomi.” Since then, she performed the theme songs for How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom Part 2, Somali and the Forest Spirit, Tsuredure Children, and Dead Mount Death Play.
Despite her songs topping at Oricon Weekly Singles Chart, the artist is more well-known as a voice actress. Her popular roles include Rem from Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, Chino Kafu from Is the Order a Rabbit?, Itsuki Nakano from The Quintessential Quintuplets, Hestia from Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Shoko Makinohara from Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, and Jeanne from The Case Study of Vanitas.
The voice actress placed 7th on the Spring 2023 Seiyuu of the Season rankings with her roles as Akane Kinoshita from My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 and Misaki Sakimiya from Dead Mount Death Play. She also voices the Hydro Archon Furina (Focalors) in the Japnese version of Genshin Impact.
