Insomniacs After School revealed a preview for episode 5, which is set to air on May 8 at 24:00 PM (JST). Studio Liden Films is animating the series, under the direction of Yuki Ikeda.
As episode 4 ended with cloudy weather and a misunderstanding with faculty member Hakui, Ganta Nakami feels gloomy. He is now being watched by his teacher and is also unable to practice his astrophotography. However, Isaki Magari promises Ganta that once the skies clear up, they will meet up on the beach.
As the day of the seaside camping trip arrived, Ganta finds himself unable to sleep inside the tent due to his rowdy groupmates. As the day passes he gets more impatient, so he decides to open up the tent on the second night, and he is surprised to see a clear, starry night sky…
Rintaro Ikeda is doing the series composition for the anime, Hiroki Fukuda is the character designer, and Yuki Hayashi is composing the music. The cast for the anime includes:
