I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years Season 2 Reveals New Visual and Studio, 2025 Premiere

The previously announced season 2 of I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level revealed a new visual and a 2025 premiere date along with a new studio and staff. Studio Teddy is animating the sequel with Kunihisa Sugishima as director. Naohiro Fukushima is the scriptwriter and Hikaru Kodama is the character designer.

Keiji Inai returns to compose the music for the second season. The cast will also reprise their roles:

  • Aoi Yuki as Azusa
  • Kaede Hondo as Laika
  • Sayaka Sembongi as Falfa
  • Minami Tanaka as Shalsha
  • Manami Numakura as Beelzebub
  • Azumi Waki as Flatorte
  • Riho Sugiyama as Rosalie
  • Yukari Tamura as Pecora

The first season of I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level premiered on April 10, 2021, with Revoroot in charge of the animation. The anime is based on a light novel series written by Kisetsu Morita and illustrated by Benio. SB Creative published the first volume of the light novel in 2017 and it currently has a total of 19 volumes with the latest one released last December 2021. Yen Press is licensing the official English translation and describes the plot as:
After living a painful life as an office worker, Azusa ended her short life by dying from overworking. So when she found herself reincarnated as an undying, unaging witch in a new world, she vows to spend her days stress free and as pleasantly as possible. She ekes out a living by hunting down the easiest targets – the slimes! But after centuries of doing this simple job, she’s ended up with insane powers…how will she maintain her low key life now?!
