Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo Manga to Feature "That Character" as Bonus Material, Reveals New Art of Yuji and Mahito

The spin-off sequel manga Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo (Jujutsu Kaisen ≡) is teasing ‘that character’ who didn’t appear as bonus material in its final volume. Megumi Fushiguro is of course the first to come to mind, though it’s not confirmed as to who it refers to.

Volume 3 will be the final volume for the manga, which concluded in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 15 on March 9 after a total of 25 chapters. It was written by Gege Akutami and illustrated by Yuji Iwasaki.

Volume 3 will release in Japan on May 1. You can see the cover below:

The series is set 68 years after the Culling Game arc from the original Jujutsu Kaisen story and follows a near-future world where extraterrestrial beings known as the Simuria suddenly appear on Earth. The story follows Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, with the official synopsis described:
It’s been 68 years since the Culling Game. In 2086, an alien race known as the Simurians arrive on Earth in a spaceship. The fate of the world lies in the hands of two jujutsu sorcerers Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu. Jujutsu sorcerers and aliens, what chaos will be born from this meeting?

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo began as a short-term serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 41, released on September 8, 2025. The second volume was published on March 4, with the third and final volume scheduled to release on May 1.

To commemorate the conclusion, the final chapter appeared with a center color spread in the magazine.

Gege Akutami’s JUJUTSU KAISEN manga officially ended on September 30, 2024. It was serialized for 6-and-a-half-years since March 2018, with the story getting concluded in 30 volumes. Volumes 29 and 30 both released on December 25, 2024. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English. Season 4 of the anime, subtitled Culling Game Arc Part 2, was recently announced.
