The upcoming Laid-Back Camp (Yuru Camp) movie revealed a new character visual, this time focusing on Rin Shima. The movie, which previously revealed a Nadeshiko visual, is set to open in Japan this summer.
Studio C-Station is animating the Laid-Back Camp movie. The same studio animated the TV anime. Yoshiaki Kyougoku is directing and Mutsumi Sasaki is in charge of character designs. Both of them also worked on the anime. Mutsumi Ito and Jin Tanaka are writing the screenplay. Tanaka also worked on the anime, while Ito did the series composition for Room Camp (Heya Camp) side-story. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in the Winter 2018 season, while the second followed in Winter of 2021. Crunchyroll co-financed the anime and also streamed it.
Laid-Back Camp is based on a slice-of-life manga by Afro. The manga started serialization in 2015 and it currently has 12 volumes, with Yen Press handling the English release.
