Studio 8-bit is animating the third season. Shin Tosaka directs the series with Masafumi Sugiura writing the script. Takanori Hashimoto is on the character designs while Akiyuki Tateyama is composing the music. The ending theme song “So Precious” is performed by Asaka and the main cast members will also reprise their roles:

C-Station animated the first two seasons. Season 1 premiered in January 2018 while season 2 debuted in January 2020. Crunchyroll is streaming the first two seasons of the anime and they describe it as follows:
Nadeshiko, a high school student who had moved from Shizuoka to Yamanashi, decides to see the famous, 1000 yen-bill-featured Mount Fuji. Even though she manages to bike all the way to Motosu, she’s forced to turn back because of worsening weather. Unable to set her eyes on her goal, she faints partway to her destination. When she wakes up, it’s night, in a place she’s never been before, with no way of knowing how to get home. Nadeshiko is saved when she encounters Rin, a girl who is out camping by herself. This outdoorsy girls story begins with this first encounter between Nadeshiko and Rin.

The anime is based on a manga series by Afro. It was first serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine from July 2015 to February 2019 until it was transferred to Comic Fuz. Yen Press licensed the manga in English.
