On December 30, 2020, from the winners listed above, one from each category will be chosen to get another award of even higher importance. According to the official twitter, the anime film is still the 3rd highest grossing film in Japan of all time. It mobilized over 17 million spectators and earned over ~23.3 billion yen (approximately ~$223 million USD) and is now even closer to the top. Homura is obviously very popular as well, so we can’t wait for the Demon Slayer movie to come overeseas!
