The upcoming Love Live Nijigasaki anime movie trilogy released the main trailer for Part 1. The first part of the trilogy movie will premiere in Japan on September 6, 2024.
Studio SUNRISE is animating the movie trilogy, titled “Love Live Nijigasaki High School Idol Club – Final Chapter.” The main staff includes Tomoyuki Kawamura as the director, Takumi Yokota as the character designer, and Naoki Endo as the music composer. The voice cast is returning to reprise their roles for the movie trilogy:

- Aguri Onishi as Ayumu Uehara
- Akari Kito as Kanata Konoe
- Chiemi Tanaka as Rina Tennoji
- Kaori Maeda as Shizuku Osaka
- Maria Sashide as Emma Verde

- Miyu Kubota as Karin Asaka
- Natsumi Murakami as Ai Miyashita
- Tomori Kusunoki as Setsuna Yuki
- Moeka Koizumi as Shioriko Mifune
- Akina Homoto as Lanzhu Zhong
- Shu Uchida as Mia Taylor
Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is a spin-off project of Love Live! idol franchise. The first season began broadcasting in October 2020, while the second season aired in April 2022. An OVA premiered in June 2023. Crunchyroll is streaming the first and second seasons of the anime, describing the story:
Nijigasaki High School is known for their diverse subjects and the freedom they give to students. Second-year student Yu Takasaki has been turned on to the charms of school idols, so she knocks on the door of the School Idol Club with her friend, Ayumu Uehara. Sometimes friends, sometimes rivals, the members of this club each contribute their own thoughts and motivations to the group.
