Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer anime continues with its 2nd cour on October 7, and a new trailer has been released for the anime. Studio NAZ is in charge of the production, with Nobuaki Nakanishi as the director. The new trailer features the new opening song “BE the HERO” by Raon, and it was announced that the new ending song “ZERO” will be performed by Sano ibuki. Watch the new trailer:

The Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer anime was previously confirmed to run for 2 consecutive cours over 24 episodes. Besides the director Nobuaki Nakanishi, the main staff consists of Satoshi Mizukami and Yuichiro Momose as scriptwriters and Takatsugu Wakabayashi in charge of the music. The cast includes:
- Junya Enoki as Yuhi Amamiya
- Naomi Ohzora as Samidare Asahina
- Kenjiro Tsuda as Noi Crezant
- Azusa Tadokoro as Hisame Asahina
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Shimako Hyo
- M•A•O as Anima
Satoshi Mizukami wrote and illustrated the original Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer manga. It was serialized in the Young King OURs magazine from April 2005 to August 2010. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed it in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. They describe the story:
One day, college student Yuuhi meets a talking lizard who turns him into a member of the Beast Knights with a superpowered ring! Suddenly, he’s saved from an attack by the girl next door, Samidare, who just so happens to be a demon lord and Earth’s would-be conqueror!
