Moana 2 has received two anime style videos by the independent Japanese animator Gensho Yasuda, following the animated movie’s premiere last month. The project was officially approved by Disney Animation Studios, with the company collaborating Yasuda extensively on everything from character design alignment to storytelling direction.
The two released clips feature the songs “Beyond” and “Returning to My True Self,” both sung by Tomona Yabiku, who voices Moana and performs songs for the Japanese version of the movie.
