The My New Boss Is Goofy anime released the preview images for episode 6 which will premiere this Saturday, November 11. A synopsis was also released alongside. Studio A-1 Pictures is animating it, with Noriyuki Abe directing the series. Take a peek at the new episode of My New Boss Is Goofy anime from the preview images below:
The previous episode followed the story of Momose and Shirosaki as they go on a business trip together. They stayed at a hot spring inn, where they also took their time to enjoy nature. On the other hand, Aoyama and Kinjo also went on a day trip, but unfortunately, they were caught in heavy rain.
The official website for the anime describes the plot of My New Boss Is Goofy’s episode 6 as:
Momose drops his phone in a fountain and has to get a new one. Then he receives a call from Kurono, his former boss, whom he had supposedly blocked from receiving calls, which makes him panic. Worried about Momose, Shirosaki decides to give him a ride home. Momose had been afraid to face his past wounds, but after hearing Shirosaki’s warm words about him, he gains the courage to face Kurono. Momose then makes a phone call because of Shirosaki’s encouragement. However, something happened. What does Shirosaki suggest to Momose?
The cast of the My New Boss Is Goofy anime includes:
- Kotaro Nishiyama as Kentaro Momose
- Yuichiro Umehara as Yusei Shirosaki
- Tomokazu Sugita as Mitsuo Aoyama
- Hiro Shimono as Hakuto
- Jun Fukuyama as Satoshi Kinjo
Ayako Kono is the assistant director of the series, with Masahiro Yokotani on the series composition. Takahiro Yasuda is the character designer and the chief animation director. Masato Nakayama is in charge of the music and Jin Aketagawa is the sound director.
