The page on Magazine Pocket describes the plot in Japanese:
The natural enemy “Demon Clan” has emerged and invaded humankind. Hundreds of years have passed since. The world has been under the rule of “The Great Demon Lord” and the 47 subordinate Demon Lords. Despite having been living with fear, the humans have selected 47 people from all over the world and named them as “Heroes” in preparation to resist the Demon Lord army. And now, a decisive project is about to begin for the humankind’s survival.
