Oshi no Ko episode 11 (finale) preview images and trailer have been revealed. The series finale is titled “Idol” and it is scheduled to air on Wednesday, June 28. It will be available to stream on HIDIVE, Ani-One Asia ULTRA, Bilibili, and Netflix. Check out the preview images:
Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) and Kuniyasu Nishina (22/7 episode 4) are collaborating on directing the final episode with Sumie Noro (New Game!! episode 9) doing the storyboard and Jin Tanaka (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) writing the scripts.
Studio Doga Kobo (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) is animating the anime with Kanna Hirayama (Rent-a-Girlfriend) is adapting the character designs from the manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrated by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish).
The cast of Oshi no Ko consists of Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino, Takeo Otsuka as Aquamarine Hoshino, Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino, Megumi Han as Kana Arima, Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa, Rumi Okubo as Mem-cho, and Lynn as Miyako Saito.
Bilibili describes the plot of the series as follows:
In the entertainment industry, lying is the weapon. Every day, Goro, an obstetrician and gynecologist who works in a small city, leads a life unrelated to the entertainment business. Yet, the idol Hoshino Ai that he “followed” started to move up the list of stars. Such two realized their worst-case scenario, and from that point on, the wheels of fate started to turn.
Aqua and Ruby Hoshino recently appeared on the cover of SPUR magazine’s August 2023 edition and the anime revealed a visual featuring B-Komachi.
