Oshi no Ko anime revealed a preview video and images of episode 2 on Tuesday. Episode 2 of Oshi no Ko titled “The Third Option” is slated to premiere tomorrow on Wednesday, April 19, and will be available to stream on HiDIVE, Ani-One Asia ULTRA, BIlibili, and Netflix Asia.
The staff working on the next episode has also been announced. Jin Tanaka (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) is in charge of writing the scripts with Koji Masunari (22/7 episode 5) doing the storyboard. Seong Min Kim (Asteroid in Love episodes 6 & 8) is directing while Maho Yoshikawa (WATATEN!: an Angel Flew Down to Me episode 3) and Kanna Hirayama (Bloom Into You episode 5) are the animation directors.
Studio Doga Kobo (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) is animating Oshi no Ko with Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) as director and Saori Tachibana (Wasteful Days of High School Girls) as the assistant director. Kanna Hirayama (Rent-a-Girlfriend) is adapting the character designs from the manga written by Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and illustrations provided by Mengo Yokari (Scum’s Wish). The cast consists of Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino, Takeo Otsuka as Aquamarine Hoshino, Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino, Megumi Han as Kana Arima, Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa, and Rumi Okubo as Mem-cho.
