The upcoming original esports anime Our Rainy Protocol has released a key visual, as well as information on the additional cast members. Studio Quad is animating the series with Yasutaka Yamamoto as the chief director and Taishi Kato as director. The additional cast includes Tomokazu Sugita as Ryusei Nagamine, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Mutsuki Naito, Kaede Hondo as Seshiru Sato, and Azumi Waki as Emiko Takanashi.
The anime was first announced in July this year and will premiere in October. Kotsukotsu is doing the story draft, boota is the original character designer, and Kanna Hirayama is the anime’s character designer. Katsuhiko Takayama and Yasutaka Yamamoto will be responsible for the series composition; while Satoru Kousaki and MONACA will be composing the music. TEAM Kitsune is credited with the original work. The main cast for the Our Rainy Protocol anime includes:

The Our Rainy Protocol original anime revolves around the story of Shun Tokinoya, a second-year high school student who lives with his mother and younger sister. Devastated by his father’s tragic demise and his sister’s injury, Shun abandoned his once-beloved game and found employment at an esports café named “FOX ONE.” Amidst relentless studying and part-time work, he cherishes the company of his childhood gaming companions.
Unexpectedly, Shun discovers that “FOX ONE” is burdened with an overwhelming debt. To settle this financial crisis, Shun and his friends embark on a mission to conquer the renowned “Xaxerion Championship” and seize the coveted prize money. Battling with a deep sense of remorse, Shun reenters the virtual realm of online gaming, only to confront his former gaming comrade, Bakuretsu-kun.
