The upcoming Police in a Pod anime adaptation from studio MADHOUSE revealed a new trailer. The anime previously revealed January 2022 release date and begins airing on January 5.
Yuuzou Sato (Magical Warfare) is directing, with Kei Tsuchiya on character designs. Ryuunosuke Kingetsu (Ulysses: Jeanne d’Arc and the Alchemist Knight) is in charge of series composition, while Nobuaki Nobusawa composes the music.
The Police in the Pod is a comedy slice-of-life manga by Miko Yasu. It started serialization in Kodansha’s Morning magazine in 2017. In addition to the anime adaptation, a live-action series also started airing in September 2021.

Shion Wakayama voices Kawai, while Yui Ishikawa is her role model – Seiko Fuji. Kobayashi Kendo voices their boss, with Kana Hanazawa as Miwa Makitaka, Rikiya Koyama as Tamotsu, Shinba Tsuchiya as Takeshi, and Ryouta Suzuki as Seiji.
