Puniru is a Kawaii Slime Season 2 was announced immediately after the first season’s finale on December 22. The anime was animated by TOHO animation STUDIO and ran for 12 episodes from October 6, 2024. You can see the announcement trailer for Season 2 below.
The voice cast for the anime includes:

The first season was directed by Yushi Ibe, with series composition by Michiko Yokote, character designs by Aya Tanaka, and music by Izumi Mori. Aya Tanaka and Kenji Matsuoka served as chief animation directors.
Puniru is a Kawaii Slime adapts the Puniru wa Kawaii Suraimu manga series by Maeda-kun. It was first published as a one-shot in Shogakukan’s Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic children’s manga magazine in February 2019 before starting serialization on the Weekly CoroCoro Comic website in March 2022.
The story follows Puniru, a slime girl created by a young boy called Kotaro Kawaii. He is in love with his high school senpai, but his adorable creation wants him to notice her instead and acknowledge her cuteness.
