The 2nd cour of the Ragna Crimson anime will premiere on January 13, and it revealed a new visual for the continuation. The final episode of the 1st cour (episode 12) will premiere on December 16, after which there will be a recap episode on December 23 before the break. Studio SILVER LINK. is in charge of the animation, and you can see the new visual below:
Besides Ken Takahashi as the director, the main staff for the Ragna Crimson anime also includes Shinpei Aoki as the character designer and Deko Akao in charge of the series composition and script. Chiaki Kobayashi is voicing Ragna, while Ayumu Murase voices Crimson.
Ragna Crimson is based on the 2017 dark fantasy manga, which is written and illustrated by Daiki Kobayashi. It has been serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker since March 2017, while Square Enix Manga & Books licensed it in English. They describe the story:
Dragon hunters: warriors armed with special silver weapons who kill their prey for bounty. Lowest among their ranks is Ragna, who forms an improbable partnership with the young genius Leonica, a master dragon slayer with more kills to her name than almost any other. All Ragna wants is to stay by Leonica’s side, but his dream is shattered by an attack from the deadliest dragon imaginable…
